Tarantula Cribs

Hi, I’m the founder of Tarantula Cribs. My journey with tarantulas started back in 2004 when I was in high school. I kept my first tarantula for many years before life took me into medical school, where I had to take a break from the hobby. In 2020, I got back into it and quickly realized something was missing. There just weren’t any good enclosures available.

So, I decided to make my own. I put a few online and people immediately wanted them. What started as a simple solution for myself turned into something much bigger. The demand kept growing and I had to figure out how to turn this idea into a real business. With no background in business, only medicine, I had to learn everything from the ground up.

Along the way, I connected with and built a solid manufacturing team. Together we made sure that quality and innovation were at the heart of everything we produced. Today, Tarantula Cribs has grown into the leading innovator in the space with hundreds of enclosure styles.

At the end of the day, this is still about the same passion that got me started. I wanted better homes for my spiders, and now I get to share that with keepers all around the world. Thank you for being a part of the Tarantula Cribs family.
