Enclosure Care

Magnet Care: To avoid rust, make make sure water does not sit on magnets

Warping: Most newer enclosures are equipped with warp resistant lids. Older enclosures are not. To avoid warping, please avoid excessive water build up. If your lid warps and you are within one year of purchasing, we will replace your lid free of charge. We will need your order number and a picture.

Cleaning: To clean empty enclosure: We recommend Luke warm water and a mild soap. Rinse and dry with microfiber cloth. For chemical cleaners, we recommend NOVUS plastic cleaner and microfiber cloth.  For enclosures that are inhabited, we recommend just Luke warm water and microfiber cloth.

Odor: Every now and then, is a residual odor from the bonding process may persist . This odor will not harm your spider. However, if bothersome and strong, we recommend rinsing with lukewarm water and soap. Let Air dry for 24-48 hours. If still not resolved, please contact us.

Heat Mats: We have tested large and extra large enclosures with a 4 watt heat mat and has been deemed safe when used appropriately. We are not responsible or any negligence or misuse resulting in the death of an animal or injury to person or property.  Always use a thermostat.

Nano heat lamps: have been tested with aluminum mesh lids and have been deemed safe given internal temperature of enclosure does not surpass 90 degrees F. We are not responsible or any negligence or misuse resulting in the death of an animal or injury to person or property.  Do NOT use heat lamps with cloth mesh lids or acrylic lids. Always use a thermostat.

Aquarium: Enclosures are not meant to be aquariums or to be filled with water.
